Getting to know each candidate personally so that Counsel Source can make a placement that works is a time consuming process that I insist on. My goal is to make sure that both the candidate and the client are happy with the newly formed relationship.
The process starts with an initial screening. Because I am hands-on, I cannot work with all candidates. I choose to work with roughly 10% of the potential candidates I come in contact with. These are Candidates who are serious about their search and career path and committed to the law practice.
I focus my attention on the following for each candidate: motivation for searching, academics accomplishments, objectives and ambition, social deftness, attitude, character, experiences outside law. Without a doubt, qualified "on paper" does not equal right candidate for you!
